A promo for
Bay Nature Magazine

Established in 2001, Bay Nature features informative articles on our diverse natural environments, wildlife, naturalists, community, and preservation. A visual feast and fount of information, it has also become a hotbed of environmental journalism for the Bay Area. Learn more and subscribe at baynature.org.

Cartographer Ben Pease has been blessed to draw maps for Bay Nature since the very beginning, covering new parks and open space, environmental treasures worth preserving, and connections to nature for all Bay Area residents. It's been fun to work small and in color; keep things informative and make you want to go there or save it. Here is a sampling of our work.

Just for fun, here is a sampling of our 3" square Bay Nature ads over the years. We started out with excerpts from our maps, but migrated to photographs of landmarks. The link under the logo used to link directly to pages on our website. Our current website dropped those links (but we still sell many of those maps).
