Skyline Ridge (RHP)

This big, double-sided map shows parks along the crest of the Santa Cruz Mountains, off Skyline Boulevard (Hwy 35) between Hwy 92 south and Hwy 9 (Saratoga Gap). The north half overlaps our San Mateo County map; it includes Huddart and Wunderlich Parks, plus Purisima Creek Rewoods, El Corte de Madera Creek, and Windy Hill Preserves. The south half starts at Windy Hill and shows Russian Ridge, Skyline Ridge, and Long Ridge Preserves, plus Monte Bello and Rancho San Antonio. Miles of trails with great views to the coast and ocean!
 
The bottom edge shows the start of Portola Redwoods State Park, and Sam McDonald and Pescadero Creek County Parks (shown in full on a separate map). Some of this area burned in 2020 from the CZU fire; trail status is in flux. As of mid-2021 Sam McDonald is open, parts of Pescadero Creek will be closed a while longer.
